The weather on Saturday wasn’t as good as predicted but there were some thermals around. Gabrielle (and Derek Spencer as the ballast) managed 30 mins or so but they topped out at 2600′. Kym got 40 mins in the K8 right at the end of the day.
Sunday’s weather was even further away from the forecast. Mostly sunny – yeah right. The sunny only just shone through in very small patches late in the afternoon so it was a day of bashing out circuits.
A big thanks to everyone who helped out both days and a really big thanks to Ben and Kim Carter for driving the winch all day on Sunday and keeping things running smoothly.
