John and Ted found the overnight winds(recorded at 80kph in Nuriootpa) had done damage. The FDU hangar has lost a couple of doors, the Astir trailer damaged Johns trailer and the pie cart finished backed in to the fence at the Eastern end with some small tree marks.
As they were pulling the pie cart out of the fence, a local stopped and asked them if they were missing a black Polly tank. They dug out the old flat trailer from the destroyed pie cart and went and got the tank off the road a couple of klicks to the East. This is the tank’s first out landing after a cross country?
