It was pretty windy on Saturday, but Derek and Anne shared the instructing in the Puchatek and on the winch to achieve a successful day. Sam and Michael progressed really well both in the glider and on the winch. Andrew had a good day too and Rob was able to demonstrate some steep turns and crosswind landings.
Strong gusting winds prevented flying on Sunday. Anne Philcox, Derek Spencer and Rob Parsonage walked the cables and repaired all suspect swages. The cable should remain intact for a while to come, so long as pole benders don’t start busting weak links!
