Congratulations to Ben Carter for making his first outlanding and the first for one of the K8’s. Ben was attempting his silver C badge distance but ran into some soft conditions near Point Pass. Ben chose an excellent paddock a few minutes walk from a farmhouse for a safe landing. The friendly farmers were happy to have us. It gave us a chance to prove the open trailer works well on a retrieve. This wrapped up an excellent weekend of training ops, with Konrad gaining his winch endorsement on Friday, Callum, Kieren and Heath also making significant progress towards their solo. Thanks to Redmond Quinn and Derek Spencer for their hard work instructing this weekend.
