Flying Sunday 11 September 2011

Whilst Adelaide started out rainy and overcast Stonefield was quite pleasant with a light to moderate SW wind and lots of Cu amid a blue sky. There was the occasional sprinkle of light rain but not enough to wet the ground. It turned out to be another Claudia benefit day – a student/instructor ratio of 1:4!

Most flights were circuits with the longest of 11 min under s large dark  Cu street. We packed away early because Claudia was tired of flying! A pleasant meal in the Nuri pub followed.

Both the AUGC and Trailer winch were used, with one cable currently on each. The second cable will be fitted to the trailer winch once Derek has completed some further engineering adjustments.
