Konrad Maierhofer, the principal of ‘Fly Down Under’ that brings German glider pilots to Stonefield, is busy promoting Australian soaring in Europe.
He will have a 3 x 3 m stand at AERO in Friedrichshafen, the most important exhibition in Europe for LSA and gliders, where he will show video and photographs on a 3×1.5 m widescreen TV. He also plans to do informational presentations at various aero clubs afterwards. However, to make this happen, he needs copyright free video and aerial photographs, preferable from South Australia. Photos that show excellent conditions (wave, cumulus, open class gliders) are best. Reports or stories about long distance flights from SA airfields that he can use would be appreciated.
